Using the Message Center

Everyone’s talked about tips and gave advice on getting referrals but what do you actually do when you finally have those referrals? How do YOU keep them interested, active and up to date on all the site news so they keep coming back? Well here’s your answer…CashCrate’s “Message Center”. It’s the best way to contact your referrals whether they are active or inactive and tell them about the site, the forum, give them tips and help them become more comfortable with the site as well as answer any questions they may have. If you spend the time helping your referrals out and staying in touch the rewards are endless! So log onto your Cashcrate account, click “Message Center” right next to the “my account” tab and get writing! Your referral commission will sky rocket before you know it!

CashCrate Tip of the Week

For all the “rich” people who do NOT need or want the extra cash that CashCrate has to offer. You can always just do POINTS offers by clicking on the points tab in the Members area. Completing these offers are easy, simple and painless and you can then cash them in towards terrific prizes in the Prize Shop. This website has so many amazing things to do on it-from contests, chatting with wonderful friends, learning new tips and daily surveys. If you decide to join please and I cannot urge this enough join our wonderful Forums.

New Daily Survey
We’re happy to announce the addition of a new Daily Survey for our US users. It’s called the Behavioral Survey, and you can find it under the “Daily Survey” tab in the Members Area. It pays $0.25 per completion, which is less than our others, but we’re told it confirms quickly and nearly 100% of the time. I just did it myself, and it’s quick and fun! Check it out.
UPDATE: We just got word that since this survey is still very new, the research company will only be allowing a limited number of completions each day. If you find that’s it’s filled up, you can try again tomorrow. Eventually this restriction will be lifted.
UPDATE 2: Sorry all–just got a message from the company saying they’ve had to take it down temporarily while they fix a few technical issues. We’ll have it back up as soon as it’s available again, hopefully very soon!
Payment Changes
There were some developments on the payment front this weekend that we have to address immediately. First of all, due to a rash of recent fraud, we’ll be removing PayPal from our list of available payment methods effective immediately. This is obviously frustrating for everyone considering we just added it, but in order to keep our site great, we have to protect the integrity of our advertisers and their offers.
Receiving a payment by PayPal instead of by check makes it more tempting for thieves to target our site when using stole credit cards and other people’s indentities. Clearly we cannot tolerate this sort of thing in any form–it’s not good for our advertisers or our members.
With that said, we’re looking into other, safer options for making payments more convienent for our users. We’ll be offering Direct Deposit as a starting point for our members who have been with us for a while and are Silver rank and above. No fees and no wait, the money will make it to your checking account same day.
We’ll follow up on that soon with an official announcement and information how to get Direct Deposit setup with us and any other updates. Our goal is, and has always been, to make our program as great as possible for our users and our advertisers. Making these necessary adjustments ensures that we’ll keep good relations with our advertisers, which means we’ll be able to keep a lot of great offers around long-term.
New Weekly Forum Contest
We just announced a cool new contest that’s only available to members on our forums. Submit a helpful CashCrate tip, and get a chance to have your referral link on our blog for a week! “Ignore Offer” Feature Added
We’ve had a lot of requests for an “Ignore Offer” feature that would allow users to unclutter their offers list by hiding offers they weren’t interested in completing. Well, we just added it. You can remove an offer from your list by clicking the “X” next to the Submit button. If you decide you desperately miss seeing an offer after it’s ignored, you can unhide it by removing it from your “Ignored Offers” list.
